25 years of custom handmade Italian frames
From the very beginning, the heart of the FM Bike-Favaloro project has been clear: building handmade Italian bicycle frames, designed around each individual rider’s body.
Over the years, we have created bicycles for children, professional athletes, amateur cyclists, people over 2 metres tall and riders as short as 1.50 metres. We have built tandems, racing MTBs, road bikes, e-bikes and every type of bicycle the market has required.
Today, anyone looking for an MTB or road bike for tall riders often struggles to find truly correct geometries in industrial products. The same applies to those who need a bicycle for shorter heights, with specific measurements and balanced proportions.
This is where the true difference of custom-made begins: creating a bicycle that feels like a natural extension of the body.
From MTB to gravel: continuous evolution
In 25 years, FM Bike has gone through all the major evolutions in the bike industry.
FM Bike has followed every major shift in the sector: from hardtail mountain bikes to modern full-suspension models, from the evolution of road bikes to disc brakes, all the way to the growth of the gravel world.
That is why today we also build fully customised handmade gravel frames, designed around the rider’s needs and the intended use: performance, travel, bikepacking or mixed riding.
Among the few in the world to build carbon from scratch
One of the aspects that makes FM Bike-Favaloro truly unique is its carbon manufacturing process.
Today, we are among the few manufacturers in the world to manage the entire production process in-house: from building the tube to completing the finished frame. We do not simply assemble components. We build them from scratch, following every stage of the process.
For carbon curing, we use an autoclave: a technology that combines controlled temperature and pressure to compact the fibres as effectively as possible, reduce imperfections and obtain frames that are lighter, stronger and more high-performing.
Having direct control over the entire production process also allows us to create truly custom frames, optimising stiffness, comfort, geometry and dynamic behaviour according to the needs of each cyclist.
